Message from The Principal
It is proposed by the Trustees and Governing Body of Chafford Hundred Campus to enter a consultation period regarding the Secondary School expanding from an 11 to 16 to an 11 to 18 age limit.
This is in line with becoming a High Performing Specialist School for Applied Learning and opting for the sixth form presumption. When deciding which option to select in regard to High Performing status all Campus stakeholders were consulted and overwhelming chose the Applied Learning with the sixth form presumption.
The Trustees and Governing body take the views of all stakeholders very seriously. In line with Section 19 of the Statutory Education Act 2006, outlined below is a list of ways in which you can contribute to the consultation process:
- Wednesday 24th February 2010 at 6.00pm
Public Meeting in the Thurrock Hall, Chafford Hundred Campus regarding Sixth Form development. - Thursday 18th March 2010 at 6.00pm
Governors meeting in Community Room One at Chafford Hundred Campus for any local stakeholders to discuss the proposals. - Wednesday 24th March 2010 at 6.00pm
